I grew up between Belgium and Israel, surrounded by people and cultures that never quite fit into a single box. That shaped me early. I was always drawn to the tension between who people are and who they pretend to be, and that instinct became the backbone of the stories I write today.
Moving to Toronto pushed that instinct into something real. I didn’t enter the industry through a film school or a golden connection—I started on the ground, learning how sets work, how scenes breathe, and how a hundred small decisions shape a story long before anyone hits “record.” Those early years taught me how films actually get made, not in theory but in practice.
Writing became the place where everything finally clicked. I’m drawn to characters under pressure, to people trying to outrun their past or rewrite the story they’ve been handed. I like to put them in situations that test them, expose them, or force them to confront something they’ve tried to avoid. Genre gives me the freedom to push those moments bigger, sharper, and stranger.
I live in Toronto now with my wife and son, building stories that sit at the intersection of character, tension, and the kinds of worlds I wish existed—or hope never will. The goal is simple: create work that moves, unsettles, or sticks with people long after the final frame.
Everything else—experience, credits, projects—is just the scaffolding.
The part I care about is the story.
